This is my Emerson College, Storytelling Beyond Words performance of the Celtic Goddess The Morrigan. This is a story that I wrote based on the evidence I could find at the time.

In 2023, I received a mentorship with FEAST and worked on the earliest full version of a Cinderella tale from China in 850CE. This is Yexian (or Yeh Shen).

How can I bring stories to life in your school, library or workplace?

SCHOOLS and LIBRARIES

Perhaps you want to bring stories to life for your students and young people? The oral tradition is an excellent way to improve listening and speaking skills, builds vocabulary and confidence. I’m a teacher with 30 years in the classroom from K-12.

I can plan incursions with curriculum links across Primary and Secondary to perform or run workshops for one-off sessions or a longer relationship (up to a term). I have 30 years of experience in education from K-12 and am happy to run workshops that include: storytelling, creative writing, and/or drama that build confidence in all aspects of the English Curriculum.

CORPORATE UPSKILLING

In the corporate space, workshops are designed to build individual skills in communication (speaking and listening, self-awareness, and clarity). The workshops can be tailored to suit the workplace and your specific needs.

From one-hour sessions to a half-day, these fun, interactive workshops are designed to build connections between participants as well as give them practical tools to take back into the workplace.
